What a fun and amazing family this is.  You can just see their love for the Lord the moment you meet them.  It was a breath of fresh air to do their photos.  

This was my first session with my new camera and you can really tell that it was a needed upgrade.  I am just so happy with the results and what I can offer my clients now.  So excited to be doing more photos.  This was such a beautiful spot and it turned out to be the perfect day too.  When I found this spot I didn't even see the beautiful open area of green and yellow flowers across the street, but with the colors they wore they turned out so perfect.  I also love the pink blossoms that we started in.  Really showcases how beautiful our central valley can be during this time of year.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Went for a run with my little man today and wanted to test out a new camera I just got the other day!!!  We had so much fun.  Well if you look at his face in the first photo it would look like Micah didn't have any fun, but I promise he did :0)  I love my new camera and am so excited about the new quality it is going to give to my clients.  Such a great purchase.  It was worth every penny.

Today Micah is also 9 Months old!!!  He is getting big so fast, and I just want to soak up every moment I can with him, which is why I love taking his photos every chance I get.  I already have a horrible memory and don't want to look back and forget some of the things that seem so small.  Hope you enjoy our photos from today!  What a beautiful day it was!!!

Having fun with my little Micah Man today.

Micah is going to be 9 Months in 2 days so I decided to take advantage of my day off today and go out looking for an orchard that was in bloom.  Just love how these turned out.  He is such a sweet and fun little man.  I just love his personality, and I figured this would be a good excuse to get him some balloons that he could play with later.  I can't believe 9 months have already gone by.  It goes by too quickly which is why I love taking photos.  I love to freeze moments in time for myself and others.  I love to look back at Micah's short 9 months and compare how much he has changed.  What a fun time we had out there today :0)

Things I love

Since I got a bit behind on posting my favorite things, I'll post a couple shots from our trips to Hawaii.  This is our favorite place!!!  We have taken two trips to Kauai, HI, and had the time of our lives.  Here are some beautiful photos we took while we were there.  The first of course is of a beautiful Hibiscus flower which is everywhere.  The second is of a small stream.  The third is on an early morning.  My husband and I got up early to go snorkeling and decided to stop and watch the sun rise.  It was beautiful.  The fourth is a beautiful waterfall on the North Shore.  We took a hike along the Na Pali Coast and ended at this waterfall.  It is the most beautiful thing!!!  I highly recommend it.  Anyway, here are some photos I took of things I love!!!  We hope to go back there again someday so now our son can enjoy it as much as we did.  I hope you enjoy!!!

Things I love

I am challenging myself to photograph something I love each week and post it.  This week I chose my son.  Today while on a run in the park with my little man we stopped to play and take some photos.  I plopped him down in the middle of some higher weeds and snapped a couple of shots of him just enjoying the great outdoors.  We had such a fun day!!!  I was so thankful for the beautiful weather outside today.  While running (which makes my body feel so good) we ran past lots of friendly people.  I love to run in this park because it reminds me of where I grew up.  I come from a small town where when you drive past someone, wether you know them or not, you wave.  This morning was wonderful because people almost always either wave or say hi or even comment on the beautiful weather.  It was a great day, and it seemed to put my little man in the best mood for the rest of the day.  So thankful for our outing. We will be doing that more often!!!
